Have you all heard Dog Daddy is trying to come to Sacramento @ the end of the year?

If you don’t know who Dog Daddy is, he’s a tiktok “trainer” who’s methods go beyond aversive & straight into abusive.

He has been openly denounced by the RSPCA in the UK and the ACVB (American College of Veterinary Behaviorists) for his methods used. That’s right, Veterinary Behaviorists (the top of the food chain when it comes to this type of stuff) is advocating against hiring him/using his training methods!
As someone in the Pet Care Industry, he’s not someone I’d support or want to train the dogs of our community. He doesn’t HELP dangerous dogs, he CREATES them.

Please take a moment to share, sign the petition advocating against him coming to Sac, and research more about his training methods.

The heat is here, so I’m sharing a little refresher on heat stroke. 🐾

Predominately Black dogs are also at a higher risk. And predominantly White dogs are at higher risk of sun burn.

It’s gonna be another hot day 🥵 Make sure your fur babies have a cool spot to beat the heat.
