FOUR WEEKS OLD — AND IT’S MESSY WEEK!

Our Mini Cockapoo babies are 4 weeks old, and this is such a fun week of learning!

They’ve officially moved into their bigger puppy playpen where everything has a purpose. Puppy pads are on one side, their cozy bed and rug are on the other, and new intro of toys fill the middle for those wobbly little adventures.

This week we’re also introducing puppy mush and water! And if you’ve ever watched a 4-week-old puppy learn how to eat, you know why we call this Messy Week! Bowls aren’t just for eating apparently… they’re also for walking through, sitting in and wearing!

Mom will continue coming in and out to nurse them while they learn to eat. As they get better with their puppy mush, they’ll naturally begin nursing less—but here at Golden Paws, our babies are allowed to continue nursing through 8 weeks.

They’re also beginning their introduction to puppy pads and learning that their new space has different areas for sleeping, playing, eating and potty time. These little lessons are the beginning of some very important habits.

Four weeks may be little, but it’s a BIG week in puppy development!
Later in week we will have video of them eating their mush so stay tuned. This video is from our babies just entering the puppy playpen for 1st time.

Enzo has the prettiest eyes. Did you know puppies eyes are like human Babies eyes. They are born light colored mostly blue and then change to darker as they get older.

With his solid, shiny black curls that look a nd feel just like velvet, this handsome little guy is impossible to overlook. Enzo is the perfect grand finale to a week filled with the sweetest little faces!

Today’s spotlight belongs to Porsche!
She treated us to the sweetest little yawn during her video, making “Dream a Little Dream of Me” the perfect song for her moment in the spotlight. This precious little Mini Cockapoo is an absolute dream!

Royce color is called Buff. Its a cream golden color. Royce has the sweetest face that will be sure to keep him out of trouble and melt hearts.

We are going to post another puppy of the day since its Friday.
“Not every Cockapoo is all about the curls…meet Royce. 🤎” Royce has the softest coat that will be fluffy and wavy. He is the little Teddy bear of the litter.

Mercedes is a Pretty little Baby... Her coat coloring is what is called the tuxedo coat. Mercedes is black with the white markings. This little lady is classy.
