So today was a bitter-sweet day for us. Today our beautiful supreme boy TC joined his new family up in Northern Virginia 🥲

It's been quite apparent over the past 6 months that TC is not interested in girls, not interested in being a breeding male. He wants his own family to give him constant attention, love and strokes (which he deserves 100%!) whenever he wants them.

He wants to lay in a window bed, sleeping all day and then play in the afternoon with a hooman who is dedicated to him 24 hours a day. Don't get me wrong, all of our cats have the best breeding life here at BoB cattery, but ultimately a breeding male is going to lead a somewhat solitary life, and that's not the life TC wanted.

So we decided to offer him to a special person who has followed our cattery almost from day 1, attended cat shows to learn and cheer us on, and has waiting patiently for a kitten from TC for well over a year. Unfortunately I wasn't able to offer that person a kitten, but I was happy to offer him our gorgeous boy.

TC now has an adorable Frenchie to become bestest friends with and a whole family to love on him! I'm sharing 2 photos of TC being in his new home for only half a day! This boy is so happy! 🥰

Wow, it's been quiet on the Best of British page, but not so quiet at here the BoB cattery!

🤓 So what's been going on over the winter? Well, Mark has been busy building a new boy apartment which is almost ready, and I've been planning the 2026 breeding season, oh, and also MAKING A YOU TUBE CHANNEL! 😆 The channel is intended to be informative, entertaining and give people a little insight into what we're all about at the Best of British Cattery.

My first video content explains what we feed our cats and how I meal-prep! Boring for some, but useful for others.

I have other content which I plan to upload in the coming weeks, but this week I will be filming a "questions and answers" video; I get quite a few emails asking me various questions about our cattery, how our cats are kept and other random stuff, so I will do a Q&A. If there are any questions which you would like to have answered, comment below 👇 and I will include them.

📣 As 2025 draws to a close, I'm excited for the year ahead and the opportunities and challenges it might bring.

These past few months have been quite a transition for me, as I stepped out of my 30-year corporate career and into a 'self-employed' life 🫣

This past year in-between working the corporate job up in Arlington, doing weekend photography and blanket laundering through the warmer months, I have studied hard to become a licensed Realtor®, which is exciting 😆 and scary 😱 all at the same time!

My equestrian roots, knowledge and passion for 'living with your horses' naturally draws me towards horse farms and farmettes 🐴🏡 I love being able to help people achieve their dream of having their horses at home with them 🥰
If you've met me you'll have an idea of the kind of person I am; professional 😊, detail oriented 🤓, a good communicator 😄, and passionate about my job in-hand 🫡, no matter what it is!
