Over 1,200 puppy mills closed. Thousands of dogs are spared, and over 350,000 fewer puppies are being produced every year in Missouri. But the fight is not over. Help us advocate for more vigorous enforcement of our state and federal laws regulating commercial dog breeders.

Today is Puppy Mill Awareness Day!🐾

Every dog deserves love, comfort, and a safe place to call home. Sadly, nearly 2 million puppies are born in these cruel, inhumane facilities each year.

If you can’t find your perfect match at the shelter (though we think you will), please do your homework before buying your next pet. Ask yourself: Are the dogs bright, alert, and happy? Will they let you see all the dogs on the property? Is the housing clean and comfortable? Do the dogs seek attention from their caretaker? Will they share full veterinary records?

If you notice red flags or just have a bad feeling, walk away. Every choice we make can help end puppy mills and ensure all dogs are treated with the love and respect they deserve.❤️

This is my new Westie, Zoe. She's the second beautiful Westie I've had the pleasure of grooming.
I've groomed other westies but these two are (were) conformationly the prettiest.

Aww... This just came up again... She's since passed so this video is so precious. When I first met her, she was just the most beautiful Westie I had ever gotten to groom.
I feel so honored I got to groom her for most of her life. She'll always be a favorite.
