We have someone who has reached out and seeking rehoming please READ BELOW this could be an SBT or pit and terrier mix but a super loving babe that has been taken care of just misplaced. See if this discription from the person that took her in - if you can not meet the requirements of rehoming per below DO NOT reach out
The vet agrees with you that she is probably a pit bull mix. I was surprised when he said that she was probably 3 to 4 years old. She just seems like such a puppy. The poor things now has had two spays, a rabies shot, her first distemper/parvo shot, been microchipped, and had her nails trimmed. She has been given Intercepter Plus and had Advantix II applied for fleas and ticks. She is very, very people orientated. She has been introduced to my oldest dog but since she is so active she drives her nuts at times. I haven't introduced her to my other two dogs. They are more alpha than the older one is. I think that she would do best where she is the only house dog. She found the couch within minutes of me letting her into the house. She loves toys and treats. She mouthly which I'm trying to work on with her. I think part of it is she is just needs to be with people. She will sit on the porch and cry mournfully because she isn't inside. She really wants to be with people. She will scratch at the door and screen trying to get you to give her some attention. Oh, by the way screens do not survive very well under this treatment. She needs a home where she will be an inside dog. I also think she needs a fenced in yard when she is outside. She cannot end up on a chain outside, being ignored and have food and water given to her at intermediate times. Anyone who takes her must be dedicated to keeping her for her entire life. I don't want her to end up in any situation where someone would use her as a bait dog or even teach her to fight. She doesn't deserve that. In fact no dog does. But for some reason there are people who see any type of pit mix something they can use in some way in dog fighting. I would like her to have a home where she is loved and cherished. So if you can find a home like that that would be wonderful. Right now I call her PupPup but at the vet's they have her down as Ginger since my sister thought she should have a regular name.
