End of August. The time in between, where mornings feel like Fall, daytime is still Summer, and back to Fall in the evening. The gardens are overflowing. Kids are heading back to school. The birds are starting to migrate and so are the Monarchs. Honeybees are busy bringing pollen back to the hive, and all of nature seems to be preparing for the next season creeping in. I feel blessed to live in a place where all 4 seasons show themselves fully. I think Fall might be my favorite in VT though.🍁🍂🤎

We miss our little A frame cottage we had at our Benson, VT farm, hosting guests, deep campfire conversations, and Sunday morning yoga. It wasn’t “goat yoga”, but “whoever happened to wander into the orchard and join yoga”. We miss the beautiful weddings, and the rustic coffee shop we built in the garage when the world shut down. This year having a crop failure has been a great reminder that we are more than just blueberry farmers, we’re “Kinder Way”, and we need to embrace that magic again. Maybe we’ll start gathering old materials to repurpose into another cute cottage. Maybe…..✨
