Big Dog Ranch Rescue is urgently asking for blankets, sheets, towels, wet dog food, and rubber dog toys!

Please bring all new or gently used items to our location any day of the week between 10AM and 5PM at:

We are at maximum capacity and are working as hard as possible to make more space for more precious lives this holiday season. Will you open your home and your hearts to a foster dog in need? We need immediate placement for...

-A pregnant Doberman mother
-Disabled/Special Needs Dogs
-Dogs who need daily medical attention
-Shy/timid dogs who do not do well in the shelter setting
At this time we do NOT need fosters for puppies.

Apparently canine influenza is going around Palm Beach County. Please make sure your pets are up to date on their shots and keep a close eye out for symptoms:
-cough
-runny nose
-fever
-lethargy
-eye discharge
-reduced appetite

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

We recently took in a dog from an owner surrender situation who, within days of arriving, began to show symptoms of canine influenza which has infected many of our other dogs. The dog was immediately isolated, and the ranch is temporarily closed to protect the safety of the other dogs. The ranch also learned from regional experts (on this contagious canine illness, not known to be transferable to humans), that there are other cases of canine influenza throughout Palm Beach County. Big Dog Ranch Rescue is advising dog owners to immediately avoid using dog parks, dog beaches, or common gathering places, and to make sure that their dogs are up to date on vaccines.

We highly recommend getting your dog the influenza vaccine from your Veterinarian. This story will be covered on local television and media outlets and we will actively update this post as county and state information becomes available.

Description: Sky was last seen on Redwood rd in West Palm Beach Florida.
She is a blue French-bulldog and weighs 14lbs. She is microchipped. Please call Kim at (561) 859-6453 if you have any information about Sky. She was last seen being carried by a young man in his early twenties. He was wearing a blue shirt. Please be on the lookout. Thank you!

Cooper needs a home!

Location Miami. 3 1/2 years old

Cooper was found running loose on the Redlands.
Isabel Zapata that work on saving dogs in that area, took a picture of him and contacted GGARR.
GGARR said YES, we will take him and Susan, another Redlands volunteer drove him to Mueller Animal Hospital.
He is completed Vetted and waiting for a home to call his own
