Caturday Spotlight: Sassy πŸ±πŸ’—

Sassy came to the shelter after being left behind when her family moved away. This has been a stressful and confusing transition for her, and the shelter environment has her feeling a little overwhelmed. πŸ₯Ί

Despite it all, Sassy remains an incredibly sweet and friendly cat who enjoys attention, tasty treats, and especially tuna! She does have some irritation on her nose due to mosquito bite hypersensitivity, but it doesn't take away from her beauty one bit.

Sassy is hoping to find a patient and caring home where she can relax, feel safe, and show her true affectionate self once again. Could you be the one to give this lovely girl the second chance she deserves?

Doggie Daycation Spotlight: Digby 🐢🌴

Digby had a great day out with our NEW Doggie Daycation Program and showed everyone what a sweet, friendly, and well mannered boy he is!

During his outing, Digby visited a busy park filled with people, bikers, birds, and even bunnies, and he handled it all like a champ! He stayed calm, confident, and focused even with all of the activity around him. He was friendly with everyone he met, including kids, and happily accepted treats with the great manners 🐾

Digby rode great in the car, listened well for treats, and settled into a nice walking pace after getting some of his excitement out.

Overall, Digby is a loving, easygoing boy who seems ready to fit right into a forever family of his own πŸ‘πŸ’•

🐱 It's kitten season, and we are overflowing!

If you find kittens alone, watch from a distance. Their mom is often nearby and caring for them. ❀️

Unless mom has been absent for 24 hours, or the babies are sick, injured, or in immediate danger, it's usually best to leave them where they are and monitor from a distance.

Adoptable Spotlight: Meet April πŸ’•

April is a 1 year old sweetheart who is having a hard time adjusting to shelter life and would love a quiet home where she can finally relax and decompress. While the shelter environment can be overwhelming, she's still such a playful girl! She enjoys having fun, spending time with people, and curling up for a cozy nap afterward.

April is also part of our Healing Hearts program, meaning she has heartworms: a treatable and easily preventable condition. Her adoption fee includes her heartworm treatment through our sponsorship program ❀️

This young girl deserves a loving family that will give her the time, patience, and comfort she needs to settle in and thrive. Could April be the missing piece in your family?

Doggie Daycation Spotlight: Chili Con Carne 🐢🌴

Chili Con Carne had an amazing time out with our NEW Doggie Daycation Program, and he showed everyone just how sweet, playful, and smart he is! From the moment he hopped into the car all by himself, Chili was ready for an adventure!

Chili loves toys, treats, tennis balls, and playing fetch 🎾 He was super engaged with his person the whole outing, checked in often, listened very well, and seemed eager to learn, making him look like he’ll be very easy to train! Chili also walked nicely on leash, was gentle when taking treats, and stayed friendly and curious with everyone he met 🐾

One of his favorite parts of the day? Splashing around the water fountain area at the park πŸ’¦πŸΆ Even when another dog barked near him, Chili stayed calm and simply curious.

Overall, Chili Con Carne is such a fun, loving, and well mannered dog who deserves a forever family of his own πŸ’•
