We started in a mobile home community within Holland, MI, and developed what we called (for lack of a better term): "Phaedra's Pherals". We supported the feral community that Phaedra was born into, by giving them food, shelter, and medical care. If left up to the management of the park, the cats would have been trapped and dispatched of. Most of that community lives on Social Security, Disability, or unemployment, which is what makes this task of helping so daunting and why we are in need of assistance. We have saved many feral kittens, seven of which are blind, and hope to be able to continue saving them and getting them in a TNR Program (trap, neuter, release). Anyone wanting to help "donate", we have two ways people can donate:

We are really struggling to keep our heads above water, which is fine, the humans can struggle, but we need help for things like flea prevention, dog food, cat food, miscellaneous medications.
Even if half of our Phriends and Phan’s sent $1, we could breathe. Book sales will help the animals but that money won’t start showing up for a couple weeks.

“Born alone and after 5 years of abuse, Ashley thinks life will always be hell until she is rescued by two strangers and discovers the world isn’t so dark after all. As her new life flourishes, no one warned her of the danger lurking around the corner. She was told she would always be safe, but fate is about to turn her life upside down. Momma’s been writing for over 30 years and decided to take a chance and share.
She lost her original notebooks, started over on her computer but lost it in the fire, and then recovered most of the files because she had backed up in Dropbox.
Once Kindle Direct Publishing is done processing (takes 72 hours) it will be available for those who would like to take a chance and read it. 🐱🐶🐱🐶
