Armstrong Cricket Farm - "World's Largest Cricket Farm"
Started in Glennville, Georgia in 1947 by the father of the current owner, Bill Armstrong,
Armstrongs Cricket farm grew and grew.
In 1954 construction started on the West Monroe Plant. In March 1955, the first cricket was sold. Now in its third generation with grandson Jack Armstrong as its General manager and his brother Jimmy, General Manager of the tackle division. The 'farm' has a capacity of over 50 million crickets in house and sends out about 10 million a week to sales outlets all over the world. They have accounts in all of North America, Central America, Europe and the Carribean.
