I got the shed test results back from mom.

She's Pastel Leopard Specter Het Pied.

Paired to a Pastel Banana Enchi Hurricane Clown.

I knew she was something in the YB complex, but I missed on allelics with her last year when taking a YB Orange Crush to her. This year, it seems I made up for it by hitting it in possibly everything... I do have them all labeled as Specter... but that's definitely up for discussion!

No Hurricane on her side, so there's no chance of these being Super Hurricanes. Twas a long shot, but some of these babies are phenomenal for only a single copy of Hurricane!

Still waiting on the Acid test results. That's still a possibility. There's sometbing else in mom.. has to be. 2 clutches with very different babies than should have been expected.

I wasn't happy to find out she was Het Pied at all, so most, if not all, will be available.

I'll have them with me this weekend at the HERPS Exotic Reptile and Pet Shows in West Monroe, so if you're there, stop by and take a look, or just say hi!

Well, after the results from this clutch, it looks like I'm going to be sending mom's shed in for a full morph panel. I certainly wasn't expecting the results that I got from this clutch. I bought her knowing there was something else at play, but after two clutches I'm further in the dark than I was when I picked her up!

That's part of what makes this so much fun for me, though. How can I be upset when the look like this?

This looks fun!

Although, he or she might be a handful! 😅

It hatched a bit early, with a clear case of ADHD, tangled in its umbilical cord and attached to the yolk, which it hadn’t fully absorbed.

After a quick litigation, it’s now all set, and we’ll be giving it a meal in the next few days to help make up for the nutrients it missed out on.

It looks like our adventurous Mr. or Ms. Evel Knievel couldn’t wait to start their life!
