Last night we learned a very hard truth about being a pet owner. Loss… Suri, our 5 month old rescue died of heart failure. A silent killer of cats. At 7:30pm she went from being her rowdy playful herself, to extreme distress. No meowing. No clear signs.. Just sudden difficulty in breathing. After testing, x-rays, radiology imaging, and anything that we possibly could get done… Suri was diagnosed with heart failure. They were unsure if it was genetic or one off. We were left with no answers to so many questions. After sleepless night and hours of research I’ve learned about heart failure in cats only has about two signs: coughing, extremely subtle and lethargy. Which, for us the only sign we knew something was wrong. And by then it’s always too late.. Suri was the store favorite, my personal favorite who got me through spouts of depression in her short little time here. She left a major impact that is unexplainable and impossible to replace. A best friend to dogs .. the bravest 3 lb cat you’d ever see. 🐱 our world will never be the same. Love you for ever Suri 🐾💕

Don’t forget to get your pets name and your number on a tag, and use a sharpie to put it on their collar! Tonight is the night we see the most runaway pets due to fear of the fireworks. They will not stand still when/if they are found because of extreme anxiety. Make it big and legible so their rescuers can get them home to you. If you do your tag like demonstrated in the pictures, it makes it much more easy to read! Please keep your pets and yourselves safe! We are open until 3 for tags made on site, collars, and a variety of calming treats! 💚💛🐾💥
