As temperatures begin to rise my main concern as a pet owner is the well being of my pets, as well as every pet that walks through the doors at Pawsitivity! High temperatures affect dogs much differently than us humans since they do not sweat the same way we do to cool down and they’re significantly closer to the hot ground. They also cannot advocate for themselves when temperatures are uncomfortable so we must do so for them! Be responsible with your pets safety. Plan walks around peak temperatures. But most importantly SPEAK UP when you see a pet left alone in a hot car or being made to walk on hot pavement. Spreading awareness/information and advocating for pets safety is always our #1 goal, no matter how difficult that conversation may be. You could help save a life.

To our PAWSITIVITY family 🐾

We wanted to share a small but important update with you all.

Starting soon, PAWSITIVITY will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We love our customers and our community so much!! But as a two-person team running this shop, we’re still human and we’ve realized we need to give ourselves a little time to rest and recharge so we can continue showing up as our best selves for you and your pets!🐶❤️

This change is temporary. 👏🏼As soon as we’re able to grow our team and hire more help, we plan to be back open 7 days a week.

Until then, this small adjustment will help us stay healthy, motivated, and able to keep doing what we love.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your constant support. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 💛🐶🐱
