Obviously been away a while, thought about closing this page last week/month because it just doesn’t make sense to keep anymore. Dog hiatus became a finale, Drummer was put to rest, etc.

But, a request has been made. So here’s the newest mare to run these acres, Miss Honey.

Firstly, before I make the next post, I have to give tribute to the best four hooves to ever grace these acres. Zabrimo Majestic Drummer owned these pastures from about 2007 to this January, 2022. He was, and always will be, the best gelding we ever had.

During a time of uncertainty we are adding to our family and starting to grow our own meat/egg sources.

We added a new aussie named Scout who is tripawd but that doesn’t stop him. He passed his first scent training class and loves to use his nose.

We’ve also added pigs/meat birds and laying hens. Bowie the Kentucky Mountain horse has found a new home here as well.

Katahdin wethers will be here in two weeks. The dogs can’t wait to try out herding again.

Just an update:
Our girls are officially retired from showing/breeding/etc.
But otherwise we are in hiatus (as one might have gathered from the lack of activity).

In this hiatus the page might become a photo log of what our little pack is up to on occasion. Just so you know😊
