Sharing this sad story to give awareness to a real possibility. We lost our grand dog this way and it’s truly heartbreaking 💔

The Garner family was crushed one week ago when they found their young pup named Paloma had suffocated in a cereal bag. Kelsey Garner writes, "It was truly devastating. We are still shattered and don't know how we'll recover. Paloma "Lola" was an English Cream Golden Retriever. She was 18-months old and loved her human siblings (aged 6 and 4) very much.

Lola was healthy, happy, and full of the most beautiful life. We woke up in the morning and found her lifeless on our family sofa.
She had somehow gotten a box of cereal from our kitchen counter and retrieved the bag full of cereal from the box. She ate all of the contents and couldn't remove the bag from her head. She was still warm when we found her. We believe we were about 10-15 minutes late.

We had no idea this was possible. We feel helpless and yet so full of guilt. We've owned dogs our entire lives and never knew the risks of suffocation. I've shared your website with my friends, family, and veterinarian's office. I've extended the information to the families of Lola's litter mates. I know I can't bring Lola back, but I will do my best to prevent this from ever happening to another beloved pet.

Pet suffocation happens daily and within minutes, leaving devastated families full of guilt and grief. I tell people you can't prevent what you don't know is a danger, but sharing your story to help save other pets is truly a gift. Please share in honor of Paloma, gone too soon.

The DAZZLE DOGZZ were suppose to perform today at the Magna Library, however due to my injury we have made a new date for the summer. June 20th at 2pm.

NOX looks like such a great boy!! Someone adopt him. He deserves a wonderful home.

Nox has now been looking for a home for over 75 days, with almost no interest — and we truly can’t understand why. He is such a good boy and exactly the kind of dog who was made for life in Utah.

At 2 years old and 40 pounds, Nox is the perfect size for an adventure buddy. He’s great with other dogs, loves being out on the trails, and would be so happy tagging along on hikes, walks, and all your everyday outings.

Nox is also doing an amazing job working on his basic manners. He’s learning cues like sit, down, and place, making great progress on leash walking, and is eager to keep learning. He can be a little unsure at times, but his confidence grows more every day, and with a patient, encouraging person by his side, he’s only going to continue blossoming.

He’s already house-trained, loves to play, and is just as happy to cuddle up after a fun day out. Nox is affectionate, loyal, and full of joyful energy — the kind of dog who will make someone so incredibly happy.

Introducing our Rescue girl “SAGE” adopted from Rescue Rovers. She’s about 1 year old. She’s a cute perfect little mix. Cattle Dog is definitely there. We will be doing a DNA on her soon.
She’s only 20 lbs. Almost as small as our Willow. We love her already!!💗
