West Haven Animal Shelter The West Haven Animal Shelter is part of the West Haven Police Department's Animal Control Division in CT. next door to the West Haven Public Works Garage.

The West Haven Animal Shelter is conveniently located at 7 Collis St. The West Haven Animal Control Divison Officers are given the responsibility of enforcing all local and state laws pertaining to the welfare, control, and safe handling of animals. Through this responsibility the Animal Control Division investigates animal related complaints including nuisance calls, abandoned animals, sick or in

jured animals, and animals in unfavorable living conditions. The Animal Control Division also cares for animals who are waiting to be adopted. The Animal Control Division is supervised by Sgt. Mark Gado. This unit is staffed by Animal Control Officer's Nikki Stancarone, Lorna Hallett, Morgan Ruggiero, and Shannon Rose.

A good grooming can make such a difference- not only in how a dog looks, but in how they feel. Thank you for taking the time to make this sweet pup feel clean, comfortable, and special. Your kindness means so much to our shelter dogs! 🐶💕
If anyone is looking to have their dog groomed, we highly recommend All freshened pup. The staff is so friendly, caring, and welcoming. They do a wonderful job and truly treat the dogs with love and kindness. We’re very happy with the service and will definitely be back! 🐾
