Some people love it. Some people hate it 🤮🤢! Rack cleaning time or for some, tank cleaning time. For some of us, that could be a big chunk of change 💲 from substrate to decorations to chemicals to F10 cleaner🦠 to bug spray. Whatever it is that you're using to overhaul and clean out your deep clean. My process can take hours to days, especially when I'm setting up and getting ready for breeding season. I want a very deep clean, sterile environment.
Don't take any shortcuts make sure you get in there. Get the garden hose out. Get everything out, go in there deep clean, and your 🐍 will love it. This also gives you an opportunity to inspect f***s, sheds and whatever else is in the enclosure, and make a decision on how you are going to move forward if a problem arises.
Just a tip. Not saying you have to do it but after I clean my enclosures and wash everything down, I use a light coating of bed bug spray to prevent mite infestations ☠️🪰🪳🦟🐜🦠 or other bugs, sprayed on a paper towel and just wipe everything down. Do not spray inside the enclosure. This is a preventative measure.
