We have some big New Years news! We’re adding a baby human to the Dragon Dog Training Co. family.
My husband and I are beyond stoked to meet our little guy at the end of June, I’m sure the dogs are very excited to become vacuums chasing a toddlers trail of crumbs 😂

While the addition of a new little trainer, shredder, you name it, is exciting, there will be a few minor changes for training clients and boarders in the future. These changes were being made in the new year regardless of the addition of a kiddo, I will just be very strict on maintaining those changes ☺️

We’re also working on a website with a calendar link for updated classes/group walks/outings and surf camps you can sign up for in advance. ☺️

We have so many fun festivities happening at our 1st birthday party and official name change ceremony!!!

You'll first be met with our tent by the front door where you can grab your pup a pup cup from
the sundae bar and pick up your Party Passport!! Then head inside and let the fun begin collecting
stamps on your passport from vendors!

Just wanted to hop on here and thank all of my clients for their patience the past two weeks!

The dogs and Ethan and I all took a sweet little road trip for an even sweeter reason.
What an adventure, and thankful to have married a man who loves the dogs as much as I do 🫶

Big thank you to Karyn from for sharing her lovely and insanely talented seamstress, Brinkley! Not only did she let out and sew a split in the dress, but she KEPT ALL ORIGINAL INTEGRITY and foundation of my grandmothers wedding dress from 1953, an almost 80 yo dress. All alterations are completely reversible 🤯 seriously, so talented.

Honestly surprised got such a good photo of all the dogs 😂

This man (and Montana 👀) have my heart ☺️

Adventure Vixen here with an UPDATE!
Training Programs & Boarding
currently only has
✨one more available spot for a board & train program in mid June-July. ✨
It is 4-5 weeks and can be an advanced off leash foundation program, or a continuing service dog phase program. No severe behavior modification candidates for this slot.

I will not be boarding over the holidays of the 4th—my boarding spot is filled—but if you need refresher training or want to fill that program spot, it is available.
After that, I only have one available spot starting in August, and I’m booking into September.
✨Lessons will open back up in August, with different pricing options. This is only for basic obedience and canine strength and conditioning. *behavior mods and service dogs must complete required programming to become eligible for lessons*
✨ There will be small group classes for public places starting Mid-May, so keep a look out for those! There will be 4 spots per outing, and $35 per person. These will be dog friendly stores or breweries, and set up as a lesson to work on engagement to handler, neutral socialization for the pups, and proper stranger greetings.

Boarding: (for the remainder of 2025)
✨ all boarding prices are going to increase to $65 /day for previous program graduates.
✨ there is a $50 gas charge for pickup and another $50 for drop off. (This takes a lot of time out of a day)
✨ if giving daily meds for medical conditions (NOT supplements, probiotics, preventative) cost of boarding will be $100 /day.
✨ full refresher programs available *starting* at $700 /week, custom timeline, perfect for a long vacation and a pup who is struggling in certain areas. (Must have completed a prior b&t or complete lesson program)

It’s BAAAAAAACK! I’m so ecstatic to bring you our second annual surf camp for dogs!

For those of you who don’t know, I taught surf camp, adult and child surf lessons, SUP tours, and SUP yoga for 5 years between training dogs for the past 9 years.
Being able to bring two of my favorite things together, to provide a beautiful experience for you guys keeps my heart jovial & my soul youthful.

The goal is to give you guys a training experience that is fun and light but also still a learning environment 🌞 and what better way to do that than with things I love, like surfing 🤍
In my opinion, people crave fun experiences with their dogs. While training is an experience, it can be demanding and overwhelming—I wanted to bring this to the table to give you all a chance to ENJOY the big WHY of enduring that demanding consistency of training & behavior modification is worth the work.

Slots are extremely limited, 4 dogs only. This will be a 1 weekend, 2 days, 2-3 hours per day event. This event will be held in two different locations in topsail island August 31st & September 1st! AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND, Sept 7th & 8th!
*if you have participated in a surf camp previously, those dogs will be allowed to sign up for a surf heat separately from camp, for one or both days!
✨🤍If you’re interested in signing you & your dog up please, DM me for further info 🤍✨

*it is highly recommended that your dog be e collar conditioned and manageable around other dogs, if you aren’t sure if your pup is eligible, please set up an eval or get started with a me on those things!

This is for the dogs—but you’ll of course have the opportunity to catch a wave yourself 🤙🏼 stay stoked
