🐾 Snow & Paw Care 🐾

Watch for:
• Ice balls between toes
• Cracked paw pads
• Redness or limping
• Excessive licking after walks

Do this after EVERY outing:
✅ Wipe paws, legs, and belly
✅ Check between toes
✅ Dry thoroughly
✅ Use paw balm before walks
✅ Consider booties for longer outings

⚠️ Ice melt and salt can cause chemical burns AND stomach upset if licked.

⏱️ Safe Outdoor Time

At 10–20°F:
• Short potty breaks are fine
• Limit play sessions
• Avoid long, still exposure (standing around = faster chilling)
• Bring dogs in once they start lifting paws, shivering, or slowing down

Winter can still be fun, we just have to adjust expectations 🐕❄️

Shorter adventures, warm gear, and good paw care keep everyone safe.
