Oh Elsa! GCHB Miracle House & Carob’s Frozen Heart ❄️🩵 6/29/20 - 8/13/25 joining her mama, her brother Milo, and her Aunties Miki and Silver in Heaven today. 🌈😭💔🙏. Diagnosed just last week with highly aggressive lymphoma she took a turn for the worse overnight and we had to make the decision that was best for her. To know her was to love her. The love was big, the pain of her loss unbearable. Run free, sweet Elsa. Until we meet again! 😘🙏💕🌈

Nice PR stunt by PETA. It’s the parent clubs that set the standard, not AKC. AKC can be blamed for allowing mixed breed dogs to register as purebred. PETA should blame the backyard breeders that breed substandard specimens just for the $, with no health testing, no independent evaluation of their breeding stock, and with no care for the health and welfare of the dogs. PETA should blame the uneducated buyers that flock to backyard breeders and shelters fo “rescue” poorly bred “cheap” dogs dumped by their breeder or former owners. These are the dogs that end up in shelters. Preservation breeders that subscribe to a code of ethics and the buyers that obtain dogs from them - dogs that have a home for life - are not the problem.

The animal rights group PETA is suing to try to force the American Kennel Club to abandon the standards it backs for French bulldogs and some other breeds.
