We are an appointment base facility. K-9 Coature strives to be an upscale grooming salon that caters to pet parents of all breeds. The owner and groomer; Kristin, graduated from Grooming School in 2013 and has been grooming since 2012. She studied under an amazing award winning groomer that specialized in Terriers and Poodles and has such

passed those skills on. While all groomers have a breed they love the most, K-9 Coature gladly, patiently and gently works with every breed; always loving a chance to meet a new furbaby. Every grooming visit includes:
1] Bath: shampoo and conditioning
2] Gentle eyewash before and after bath
3] A**l gland expression
4] Full hair cut including professional hand scissored styles (extra charges may apply for additional grooming or dematting time).
5] Toe nail trimming
6] Ear hair plucking and ear cleaning
7] All furbabies dried by hand
8] Bow or bandanna
9] Light spray cologne
10] Love, patience and gentle handling for all furbabies. We are open:

Your groomer is sick 🤒

I apologize to anyone who has been attempting to book an appointment. Unfortunately, I have had flu-like symptoms since Saturday and have been unable to work. While I have been hopefully keeping appointments later in the week thinking that I would feel better, it does not look like that's the case. I will be taking the rest of this week off and getting back with everyone as soon as I am able!

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience that these cancellations have caused anyone. I certainly would prefer to be working over fighting this bug!

Sometimes we have to remember that the most important thing is their comfort and safety. There are haircuts that I may not be happy with, but they are grooms that I am proud of. And those are very different things. Mickey is not a fan of grooming, but we do everything we can to make sure he is clean, clipped and he can see. Mom and dad are happy. Mickey has less hair. And the groomer still has all her little fingers. 😆

In the end, stress hasn't taken over and I still get a happy dog that's wagging his tail and spinning on the table. See you next time Mickey!! 💜

I took some time to post this, thinking of the right words. It is never easy making these and typing what they deserve.

Raine sadly passed over the rainbow bridge in April. My peace comes from knowing that her sister Summer was waiting for her. I know just how fast your little legs can go and I hope you are up there taking advantage of all the space you have to run, lounge and just be at peace.

It was a privilege to be your groomer. I know you didn't like the process, but you trusted me through it. You are another sweet baby I look forward to seeing again. I'm grateful your parents chose me to care for you. For now, we will miss you deeply, Raine.

This industry comes with heavy loss, but it's still a shock every time I get that text or call. It is by far the hardest part of this career path, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Your mom said you were an answer to her prayers and that when she gave you your name, she picked it because it meant 'God is good.' He knew exactly who to send you to, and he could not have blessed you with a better family. You were and still are so deeply loved. Rest peacefully Toby. I will see you again one day.
