Happy Sunday and a (late) Happy Thanksgiving!
I wanted to give everyone a quick recovery update and return to work.
Recovery has been phenomenal!
Iโve was incredibly blessed with an amazing medical team, my pain has been minimal, and Iโm almost back to normal with day-to-day life at home.
I will be returning to work on December 5th, but with temporary limitations and shorter hours. For the first 1โ2 weeks, Iโll only be taking a few dogs each day and will have a temporary strict 15 lb lifting limit. This part is unfortunately non-negotiable for my healing.
Larger dogs will be scheduled later in the month (especially closer to Christmas) when I have lifting assistance. However, I cannot book dogs who are high-anxiety, or tend to pull, push, or sit down excessively, since those movements easily exceed the weight restriction. I hate having these limitations, but I need to follow them closely so I donโt injure myself or end up back in the hospital. I will be back to a normal schedule and able to groom regularly after the new year!
Thank you all so much for your patience, kindness, and for checking in on me โ it has meant the world.
Your groomer is going absolutely stir crazy not working, so Iโm very excited to ease back inโฆ even if itโs one dog a day at first!
Iโll be staying off my phone until Monday (December 1st), but please feel free to call or text 803-708-2772 to get on the schedule.
If you have any questions about my limitations, whether I can book your pup (or when), or if you just want to check in, please feel free to reach out.
