This boy made me smile! ❤
Central Ohio Bryant Home Comfort dealers and the Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue are teaming together to try to find some fuuurever homes for some amazing Boston Terriers in honor of everyone's favorite Bryant mascot, Cindergone, the Bryant Pup!
Our March dog is Bugs!!
Bugs is over 10 years old. He was found wondering in a field this past November.
He is the KING of old man naps. He is mostly housebroken if let out frequently and even goes to the back door when he wants out, although sometimes I think it is just to get a good boy treat :-) He is also crate trained.
Bugs gets along very well with other mild mannered and low energy dogs and even shares his bed occasionally with a cat. Even though he is deaf and mostly blind, Bugs navigates around his foster home with no difficulties.
When first arriving into MWBTR care, he had a terrible case of pneumonia, urinary infection and eye injury. After these issues were addressed, he was neutered, received much needed dental and had two mass removals. His eyes still have redness but their pressure is at a good level. He is currently taking diurectic medication twice a day and has another radiograph scheduled soon to review if any changes to his medication should be made.
He will eat some hard food but looks forward to his soft dinner in the evening. He will let you know if you are late and will dance around your feet until the bowl is on the ground.
Bugs loves attention and is happiest to be next to you. He looks forward to short periods of “play” time and sniffing around the yard when it is nice out. He also walks well on a leash. He is always ready to give you a kiss and I swear he smiles when you kiss on him. He is so sweet and very affectionate. He’s looking for a quiet home to enjoy his golden years.
