Taco was adopted by one of our volunteers a few months ago, and we miss her very much! I'm sure you're wondering why she doesn't volunteer anymore, and the answer to that question is...she adopted Taco and then hit the road and moved all the way down to the sunshine state!
Taco was another dog that came from an unfortunate situation by absolutely no fault of his own. He lived in squalor and had no real life. His "normal" was enough to make the average dog go insane. 😕
Clearly that's all in the past and he isn't looking back! We miss you Taco!! Enjoy all that Florida weather for us too! ❤️

Would you look at that handsome dude???
This is Beryl, and Beryl is now ready for adoption!
He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative.
He's about 6-7 years old.
We don't think Beryl was an inside doggo, and although he has gotten a lot better since the first day at the shelter, he may need some patient reassurance with his bathroom habits. He doesn't p*e in his kennel anymore because he enjoys his nice comfy space, all spread out, while watching you with his one open eye! 🤣
He also just got neutered, so that will help too.
If you have any questions or are interested in adopting Beryl, give us a call at (989) 343-7387.

Can we just take a second to celebrate for this guy? 🎈🎊🎉🎈
Bruce was adopted today, a whole day early!
He now has some people siblings, and 2 doggo siblings as well. His doggo siblings make him look like a Chihuahua, he's now the small guy around the house!
He also has the best mom and dad around who think he's the most handsome boy!
We'd like to thank his former (terrible) owners for lying and dumping him off as a "stray" dog. Why would we thank them you ask? Because he now has the best life, a life they never could have imagined giving him!
We will miss you Bruce, but we know you'll be well taken care of. We'll see you around, blockhead!
Thank you for choosing us to adopt from...again!! We appreciate you!!! ❤️
Picture is of Bruce, enjoying a baseball game!
