We truly appreciate your support and willingness to wait for a kitten and for being so understanding when waiting times turn out to be longer than expected. While we do our best to give an approximate estimated arrival time and transparency on reservation lists, and order of mating, nature doesn’t always follow our schedule.
To find out if a queen is pregnant, we must wait 50 days after mating before doing an x-ray to confirm pregnancy and to see how many kittens she is expecting. As with any living creatures, there can be uncertainties—non-pregnancies, miscarriages, natural losses, unforseen circumstances, or sometimes very small litters.
It's a 4 month process from mating to going home.
This can be a challenging process, but your patience and kindness mean the world to us. Even when a litter is only one precious kitten, we feel so grateful to share that joy with families like yours.
