Guess who is getting adopted?

Arcade is! I will miss this friendly guy, but I’m so happy for him. He has made it clear that he is going to do well with any family that loves him.

It’s day 3 with Arcade and he is doing great! He is an easy, well-balanced dog. Here is what I’ve learned about him:

🐾 Things he loves: snuggling, going for walks, playing fetch, eating (anything!), watching out the window, a good nap in a cozy spot close to his human.

🐾 Knows the “sit” command and seems to know “stay.” We’re working on “lie down.”

🐾 Potty trained. 🥳

🐾 Great in the car.

🐾 Sleeps through the night on the bed with me. He stays in “his” spot.

🐾 Leans in for pets and nudges me for more if I stop petting him.

🐾 Interested, but not reactive to other people, dogs, or other animals on our walks.

🐾 Totally fine for a bath.

🐾 Let me brush his teeth!

🐾 Did not like it when I left the house to run an errand, but tolerated it by barking and watching out the window. He was not destructive and no accidents. He was ok for the first few minutes with a chew treat. I have a feeling a Kong filled with frozen yums might work well for him.

So, my impression of Arcade is that he’s kinda perfect! If you’re looking for a gentle, fun, friendly, loyal pup that doesn’t need a lot of training, Arcade is your guy. For more information, or to fill out an adoption application, visit fluffydog.net.

Arcade is enjoying the sunshine! After sleeping through the night in the bed with me, he ate a good breakfast (he’s not picky), had a nice long morning walk, and a bath. Now, he’s relaxing. He is the perfect balance of playful and chill. If you’re interested in a friendly, snuggly, entertaining fellow, Arcade is your guy!

Arcade loves snuggling!

He’s here and he’s an absolute lovebug! I’ve only had “Arcade” for 2 hours and I can already tell we’re going to get along just fine. Here’s what I’ve already seen:

🐾 When I picked him up from the shelter, Arcade jumped right into the back seat of my car and immediately found the cozy blanket and got comfy. He rides beautifully in the car.

🐾 Walks like a champ and did his business outside.

🐾 Seems to know “sit” and maybe “stay,” but does not know his name.

🐾 Likes a squeaky/crinkle toy.

🐾 My favorite thing so far: He head dives into my lap. If I stop petting him, he shoves his head into my hand or nudges me with his nose. Arcade is very affectionate. ❤️

Tiffany is soaking up this last day of her weekend visit. She had a nice winter walk, a yummy breakfast, and is now enjoying a cozy dog bed for a snooze. I’ve enjoyed having this sweetheart this weekend! She has been a lovely houseguest.
