Last week I spent $250 for leads through an app called Bark. The way the app works is you purchase credits and they assign credit value to the responses a person makes when looking for a dog trainer. For example people who are planning and researching might only cost two credits while people who are ready to hire immediately would cost 10 credits. I selected their biggest plan of 80 credits reached out to about 11 individuals mixed between planning and researching and ready to hire immediately. Was only able to get two people on the phone, and scheduled one appointment that flaked out and stopped responding to text messages after one day. I do not recommend Bark as a product for dog trainers or for people looking to hire a dog trainer because if you select planning and researching as a customer it is suggested by Bark customer support that dog trainers should not spend their credits on those people so you are not likely to get any calls. And I don't recommend it for dog trainers because if you are spending 10 credits or two credits there has been no qualifying done by Bark. It's not a platform to do anything other than gamble your money as a dog trainer and a waste of time for people who don't know how to make proper selections or even understand that dog trainers are purchasing their contact information. Hope this helps people looking into purchasing dog training or dog trainers looking for people who need services
