‼️ Update: Closed for the Day ‼️

Due to continued flooding, Border Animal Hospital will remain closed for the rest of the day.

The safety of our employees is our top priority, and we want to ensure everyone stays safe during these conditions.

All boarding pets are safe and well cared for—we have a dedicated staff member on-site making sure they’re monitored.

We will be open this Saturday and Sunday for our Urgent Care hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If anything changes, we’ll post updates here on Facebook and Instagram.

If you had an appointment scheduled for today, feel free to give us a call to reschedule when we resume normal business hours.

Our Story

Border Animal Hospital is a full service small animal hospital. Dr. Tony Vindell, Dr. Noe Cruz, and Dr. Chandani Bhakta are working to service the needs of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. We provide extensive surgery procedures, dental procedures, radiography, ultrasound, laparoscopic, hospitalization, boarding and grooming. The hospital has made available a full line of prescription pet food for dogs and cats. As well as flea, tick and parasite treatments and preventative medications.
