Fawn Lake Rescue The mission of our group is saving, fostering, and helping animals of every shape, species, and size.

We focus on medical rescue, kittens, elderly dogs, and pregnant mamas. Our mission is to rescue, hold, and/or foster animals from situations that are abusive, endangering and neglectful. We promote education to the public regarding animal enrichment and medical care, best spay and neuter practices, and prevent irresponsible breeding. Our goal is to provide a better world for the animals we love.

They found a few more babies from the same litter. Only one baby remains, and trapping attempts for the mom to have her TNR have started.

Thank you Pet Rescue Network for helping these tiny babies!

We are going to need some names..... maybe something for the Halloween month??

It's been a busy week here at Fawn Lake! We picked up 15 boxes of donations from the hospital and had private donations from multiple others! New, used, and expired items are always accepted and appreciated. A lot of time and driving goes toward getting supplies to the other rescues that have need. Emergency wound care supply bags have been made for 6 local rescues.

In other news, meet Yin and Yang! The mother quit caring for them, and they were left on the doorsteps of a porch in the rain. We couldn't watch them shiver! They were covered in fleas, loaded with worms, super skinny, and the Siamese had some rough looking eyes. BUT! They made it through the night and have been treated for everything.

Thank you to the pet rescue network that made this possible by tagging these babies!

Life has been very busy, and we haven't had much time to update on all the animals that we have been saving.

We've finally obtained our wildlife rehab licensure, thanks to the guidance, training, and help from LeeAnn Tapscott.

Unfortunately, the timing is off and we will need to wait till the babies start pouring in for Spring. Fawn Lake is taking a short hiatus while we take care of ourselves and family. Personally, I have torn my shoulder taking care of the animals, and will likely be looking at surgery. Medicating and bottle feeding with one arm just doesn't work!

I'll still work on medical, food, litter, and supply management/distribution to the other rescues. (Though I may ask for more help carrying!). I am also going to do my best to guide people on how to help the wildlife and animals they find that need aid.

Here is to trying to start 2027 off a bit stronger and more prepared! (Are we ever??? lol)

Despite the hardships and difficult decisions that needed to be made last week, we continue to push forward and try our best to save more lives.

This week we've welcomed 3 more sweet babies into the rescue.

Jewel is 15 years young. She was abandoned by her owners and didn't have long before she would be euthanized at the shelter.
She loves to walk by your side and is gentle, potty trained, quiet, great with ALL animals and humans, and she loves balls!
We treated fleas and ticks and now are working to treat ear infections, yeast build up, and to try and help with arthritis in the back hips. She's on medication and getting better every day!
