Voigts: A tradition of fresh, local value

Bill Voigts’ farming journey started out in 1961, as a sophomore in high school. From his humble beginnings, his passion for growing high quality fresh produce has led to innovation and community growth.

Bill Voigts’ family played a major role in getting the Overland Park Farmers Market started. His famous sweet corn created long lines of fans, and frequently sold out within a couple of hours.

Today Voigts is committed to producing fresh produce and bedding plants for customers in the same locally grown tradition. As strong supporters of the community, they donate nutritious food to many charities and local food pantries every year.

Voigts Greenhouses and Fresh Produce is looking forward to continuing their tradition of fresh value and friendly service that their customers have come to expect over the last 60 years!
