Our Pet of the Week is Cupcake! A gorgeous 3yr beautiful brindle Bully mix, who lives up to the sweetness of her name. She wants nothing more than to glue her whole body to the next person she sees. She's good with other dogs, but should be in a home without cats. She's been amazing with kids she's met! Cupcake is very active, but likes to follow up playtime with the best snuggles you've ever experienced!

Ferb is home... Out of this nasty weather... And before the big snowstorm! Things worked out and we got him live trapped.

Barnaby, a shelter dog who had suffered abuse for much of his life, was terrified of the dark and shaking inside his cage at a veterinary clinic around 2:00 AM. Jessica, a vet tech working the night shift, noticed he was crying and unable to settle down.

Instead of remaining in the staff break room, she returned to the kennel with a pillow and blanket and lay down on the concrete floor next to him. Barnaby gradually stopped crying, curled up beside her, and finally fell asleep. The touching moment was later captured by the clinic’s security camera.

Although his difficult past could not be erased, the kindness and comfort he received that night gave him a sense of safety. The story reflects the power of quiet compassion and reminds us to care for animals long after the spotlight fades from social media.

This sweet puppy has been abused and starved. We are looking for her perfect match. Someone with a gentle voice, lots of snuggles to give and plenty of patience to wait for her to feel safe again and come out of her shell.

She’s terrified but loves to be held close and wants to trust.
