We had a wonderful time at the Wells HarborFest yesterday, greeting dogs and dog lovers, and sharing our mission of funding a dog park for Wells canines.

We are looking for volunteers to help us staff our super fun dog themed table at HarborFest from 1230-230.

The last 6 months our volunteer team has been hard at work! We have completed a report to the town select board, passed a vote to allow the town to negotiate a lease for land for the park and established a non profit organization to support the next phase of the work. We are looking for new board members to join our fun group. Looking for a way to engage in the community and create something lasting in the town? Join us! We are heading to HarborFest on 8/6 and are looking for some dog friendly volunteers to help us with our table. We will have a game for kiddos, treats for dogs and a basket full of goodies to raffle off. Can you join us for 2 hours to help us spread the word about the dog park plans?

Big Thanks to the 1,259 voters who supported the authorization to lease town-owned property for a future Wells Dog Park. Planning will continue at our next meeting June 21 at 6:00 PM at the Wells Public Library. Please join us if you can. All are welcome!
