You met Roma a little while back. 🐾✨ She's still here. Still sweet. Still very much ready to go home. 🏡

This terrier mix girl is one of our Box Beauties — five sisters who started life being left behind and have come so far since. At 3 months old, Roma is at that perfect puppy stage where she's ready to settle in, learn the ropes, and grow up alongside her forever family. 💕 That's exactly where she deserves to be — not growing up in rescue. 🤍

Roma's forever family is out there. Could it be you? 😄🐾

Why do village workers take do bowls every Thursday?

Where can we reclaim our water bowls? We lost two.

Call the village of Wellington /Parks and Recreation and make an enquiry there. The only thing this page does is try to promote the Dog Park and give dog park users a way to post pictures and interact. It does not represent the Village of Wellington. This page is run by private individuals who realized there was no dog park page on FaceBook/ Instagram for Wellington and created one. The best guess is that on Thursdays there is a general clean up of the dog park. The dog park is closed on Thursdays until late afternoon for maintenance. If you leave personal "dog bowls" or anything not provided by the Village of Wellington, it 's most likely confiscated as it might represent a liability or cause another problem. There already are several dog watering stations around the park installed by the Village. So, if you want your dog to have it's own personal water bowl, and it's your property, take it with you when you leave. The other thought might be that if you left something, someone might have admired it and figured it was abandoned. I further suggest you read the rules that are posted on the gate before you enter the park's enclosures. That might give you some further insight into the thought process of how the park is run.
