Help Wanted!

It’s that time of year already. Our official start of season. Barn is nearly full and it’s been a busy summer. Our number 2 girl left a couple of weeks ago to start a family and we need to fill her position.

We are offering a FT, year round position in Wellington Florida working with the top horses and riders in the world. It’s at times a fast paced, deatailed oriented position that takes an experienced person. It is not a traditional “groom” job.

We are looking for an experienced horse person who is perhaps a bit OCD. Good with handling all types of horses. Strives for perfection. Breeding experience a plus. 6 days a week, normal hours. No night check, horse shows or riding. If this sounds like you, give me a call at 561-644-2711

It’s been quite the summer so far. In addition to being a CEM quarantine, we also are on the lookout for other foreign animal
diseases. Upon culturing a new mare, Dr. Lewis discovered an embedded tick. Somehow missed. It unfortunately was a tick that doesn’t exist in this country and only 1 other was ever identified and that was in 1960!

So a USDA sent a group down to do some tick trapping just to be sure none fell of of the host horse while with us. Thankfully only 1 tiny creature was trapped and not likely even a tick.

What we did learn is that a proper deworming program not only works on internal parasites, but also ticks! Certainly reach out to your Veterinarian if you have any concerns.

Hope all is well!

Its been brought to our attention there has been a rumor started that we will be shutting down the quarantine. That rumor is NOT true and far from the truth. As the ONLY year round CEM facility doing mares and stallions in Wellington, we continue invest in the facility to maintain its beauty and functionality. Our new website is near completion. We have a full staff throughout the summer. Though our test mares get a bit of turn out on our 80 acre field. Sara and I do try to spend some time at our respected farms in North and South Carolina. I am personally here for every breeding.

We do believe we are the best and largest CEM quarantine in the Country. Our goal is to continue to exceed your needs in the future.

Hurricane Milton update from quarantine. All horses and facilities good. Was a rough night sleep in the office. Please keep those in your prayers who didn’t do so well. These tornadoes were the worst I have ever seen. So much damage 🙏🏼
