Follow up

Many of you saw the story on his sweet little "swampie" that was brought to us with injuries so severe from an embedded collar. She has gone thru surgery and is now recooperating. In addition to her injuries, she is also heart worm positive and her recovery time will be minimum, 6 months. But we cannot thank everyone enough for their support and kind words. Without all of you, we would not be able to continue to help dogs like Frozen. You are all the best.

This innocent little "swampie" was dropped off today after being picked up as a stray. The horrific injury to her neck comes from an embedded collar. Alhough she is still a puppy, her life has had such a horrible start. We have named her "Frozen" and she is currently going thru surgery now. For those that would like to donate to her vet care, we have a Paypal link on our website (www.vrcpitbull.net) and here on our FB. Despite how much pain she is in, all she wanted to do was eat (add to her injury she was emaciated) and wiggle her little tail in delight of a kind touch. I am slowly losing my faith in humanity :(
