Are you allowing time for daily walks with your beloved pooch? 🐩🏃

Walking your dog provides not only physical, but also mental stimulation, as well as satisfying their natural instincts. All of this helps to drain energy from your dog, resulting in a calmer, satisfied and more submissive pup that will be much more likely to behave when you’re not there, and respond to regular training when you are!

Stress also plays an important factor in their daily activity level. Dogs will experience stress if they are not kept socially active, and if their natural instincts to work are not satisfied. Sometimes the signs of stress may only become apparent once it has become so severe that your dog is displaying it in unwanted ways such as destructive behaviour, hyperactivity or separation related problems.

This may result in digging, chewing, biting, barking, jumping, pulling, lack of focus and attention, excessive sleeping and compulsive behavior. That doesn’t mean your dog is being ”bad;” they are simply communicating that they need more from you. ❤️

If you’re struggling to make the time, don’t hesitate to ask for help. We’re here for you and your fur babies! Life gets busy, and there’s no shame in having a little help. 🐕

She is full of energy and loves our weekly walks through her neighborhood.

Regular exercise in dogs is necessary for them to let that energy loose; daily exercise and play means less potty accidents, less house damage, and less unwanted behavior. ❤️
