At Boston Veterinary Clinic, we want to minimize fear, anxiety and stress for your little ones to the best that we can; you might notice that we utilize species specific pheromone sprays in our clinics.

Thunderease for Canines and Feliway for Felines are both pheromone diffusers designed to help reduce stress and anxiety in dogs and cats, respectively.

Thunderease uses a synthetic version of the calming pheromones that mother dogs produce to soothe their puppies. It’s intended to help with various stress-related issues like separation anxiety, loud noises, or changes in the environment.

Feliway mimics the facial pheromones that cats use to mark their territory as safe and familiar. This can help reduce stress and anxiety caused by changes in the environment, new pets, or other stressors.
