Be still my heart❤️ Meet Copper, everyone! Copper was found here in Weiser roaming around town and found herself in a very kind couples yard that scooped her up and kept her safe. Copper is believed to be part Lop, part Lionhead and is such a sweetheart. She’s still getting settled and a bit skittish, but this girl was most certainly someones pet at some point as she’s used to being held and doesn’t run from you. Copper will be available for adoption once she gets her wellness check, receives vaccines and is neutered. If you’re interested in adopting Copper please reach out for an adoption application. Everyone meet Smokey! Smokey is about 6 months old and came to us from a home where he was being bred for meat. Even at their young age, he and his wife had already had two litters that we know of. The first litter did not survive, which is why the breeder gave them up. As so many rescued females, his wife was impregnated again when she came to us. I’m happy to say that those babies are now almost 4 weeks old and they and their mama and are doing wonderful! Smokey and Harmony (mama) did not have time to form a bond as they were kept separated the majority of the time at their former home and have been separated 100% of the time at the rescue due to Harmony’s pregnancy and babies. Smokey is one of the most loving bunnies I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly once he develops a routine and understands he can trust you. He is very playful and loves running in grass! Please note, our bunnies get playtime outside that are 100% supervised and conditional on weather. Smokey will be available for adoption in the next few weeks! Please reach out if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy!
