I just wanted to let you know we have made the decision to let the website go. I have not updated it in a couple of years and just do not have the time. We no longer raise Lacy's. The picture above is so typical of Skip and Mitzi. I have to giggle every time I see this picture as they were after one of my large lizards. You know Lacy's and fast movement. We really miss our sweet Mitzi and Skip. They were such a blessing to us. Now we have Hugh's Lil Ann. She is a good girl and keeps us on our toes.

The first picture was taken the other evening when Mitzi was really needy & I got in the floor with her. The second one was on a system I felt I could get a good picture of her.

On our way to see what the vet says about Mitzi.

Well, we are taking Mitzi Tuesday to get a second opinion and ask questions about surgery. Got to do something quick as she is not eating hardly at all. Praying for some positive input.

Well, the sonagram shows a large tumor on Mitzi's adrenal gland. We will be keeping her comfortable. Depending on whether it is cancer or not determines how long we have. If cancer and aggressive we have maybe 3 months to 6 months. If not cancer maybe a year. All of this depends on whether we can get the nasuea under control and stop the weight loss. She lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks. Please pray for my wisdom in trying to find things she will eat and that will help her maintain the weight. It was 1 year ago that we lost Skip.

Well, last night I did some research on the med for nausea and decided some of the issues Mitzi was having were from that. I still gave her the Prilosec. She slept much better and even though she woke me at 2 and 2:30 to go out she went back to sleep and has not been as anxious. We are setting up an appointment to have a cscan run to see if we can find out what is really going on. I have started blending her food so it is easier for her to eat.

Well, as you journey through life there are many twist & turns. For about 3 weeks we have been dealing with some health issues with Mitzi. Originally I thought it was hormonal which would be normal for her. She has not been able to hold food down before about 5 pm every day. I made an appointment with the vet for Monday to see what is going on. However, she is really grumpy today & I can really see the weight loss. So as I can't just sit by I went searching for possible helps/solutions. I have been giving her Sepia Which helps a little. Well, I came up with doing a Raindrop Therapy session on her. She is very calm & relaxed. I will let you know if she gets better. I plan on doing another session on her tomorrow.

Lil Ann always alert.

Mitzi is grieving the loss of her Skippy. She misses him. I think she just realized he is not coming home in the same form, she is very needy and not eating much. The up side of this is she is getting a lot of loving and special treats. I even brought out squeaky. Attached below is a pic of Skip with Squeaky. This is the only toy they have not destroyed in seconds.

Skip is going to see his maker this morning. I plan on creating an album of pictures showcasing his life. Love the picture above of him baying the squirrel or lizard (not sure which as either were a call for attention) in this tree. Sad sad day but glad he is no longer suffering.

Well, Skip is not doing very well today. He has a spot on each elbow that has broken open. Having to keep them wrapped as they bleed and oozzzz. He could hardly get up this morning and only ate 2 bites of meat. It is amazing how you can know but, when it comes right down to making a decision the eyes start pouring and the heart breaks. I think it will not be long.

First before I go any further I want to give praise to our Creator who made each plant to benefit us. Keep that in mind since it is only through Him that anything is gained, learned or applied. Next, as most of you know we raise Lacy Game Dogs. Our male Skip has developed massive cancer and is not expected to live. However, it is not over until it is over so....... I decided to do a partial Raindrop Therapy session on him. I am not sure if it helped or not at the time but, it will be repeated. Last night I was part of a webinar seminar on Young Living essential oils. One of the things they talked about is the electrical current in our bodies. The essential oil that has the largest MHz is Rose oil with 320. In this webinar they shared the amount of MHz we have when healthy, getting a cold, failing health and dying. So, I decided to try Rose Oil on Skip's spine and see what happens. I put 3 drops in my hand, rubbed them together and then rubbed up and down Skip's spine and back area. About midnight he needed to go out and p**p (this has been a problem) which is a really good sign. This morning he got up and went out side to take care of business with a little jaunt in his step. He then came back in and ate a healthy portion of raw meat (the only thing he is eating right now). He is now at the office with us as I cant leave him alone and refuse to put him out in the cold kennel. He has been up and wagging his tail some. As we progress I will keep you posted. Even if he does not make it maybe he will be in less pain and go peacefully.

Update: Skip has cancer. It is aggressive so we don't anticipate having him with us very long. No treatment as it is advanced. Our goal is to keep him comfortable as long as possible when that is no longer possible we will release him to his maker. In the mean time I am trying to take any good pictures I can snap.
