Our purpose is to use miniature horses to enhance the quality of life of those we serve. Individuals of all ages and limitations with physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral disabilities find comfort, empowerment, self-esteem, unconditional love, strength, therapeutic interaction & value while working with the miniature horses. Honey's Mini Therapy Adventures brings our therapy horses all ov

er Central Florida. We visit Tampa General Hospital, Saint Leo University, Pasco Hernando State College, University of Central Florida. In addition to these organizations, smaller nursing homes and pediatric/adult rehabilitation centers weekly. Our visits also impact the staff; everyone from patients to guests seems to respond positively to the tiny horses. For example, in our most recent Tampa General Hospital visit, we were told numerous times, "This little, tiny horse just made my entire day; You have no idea how much I needed this." Another staff member states, "All her anxiety and stress washed away." If the tiny horse positively impacts someone's day that we crossed paths with in a hospital, then it's worth all the hard work that goes in behind the scenes to facilitate our therapy visits. So many different populations/backgrounds and ages can benefit from the unique service our handlers and tiny horses provide. These horses may be miniature, but their impact on the community we serve is tremendous.

🐶🐴 Therapy Dogs & Therapy Horses: Different, Yet the Same 💛 There’s nothing better than the comfort of a therapy animal—whether it’s a wagging tail or the gentle presence of a tiny horse. People often ask: “What makes a therapy horse better than a therapy dog?”

The truth is… they’re equivalent. Both are highly trained, both are deeply intuitive, and both bring the same joy, comfort, and healing wherever they go.

✨ So what’s the difference?
• Therapy dogs wag their tails, lean into hugs, and bring a familiar kind of love that people instantly recognize.
• Therapy horses—especially our minis—observe a little differently. They don’t wag their tails, but they lean in quietly, mirror human emotions, and often stand still with someone in silence, offering a calm, grounding presence that only a horse can.

And when we make hospital rounds with both dogs and horses together—the joy multiplies. Each animal connects in their own way, creating unforgettable moments of healing and hope.

Every time Cookie trots into a hospital, school, or senior care home, she brings smiles and joy—but she doesn’t do it alone. 💛 Behind her (sometimes holding the lead rope, sometimes carrying the gear, sometimes just offering encouragement) are our amazing volunteers.

From calming nervous patients to helping Cookie stay relaxed and focused, our volunteers are the heart of every visit. They make sure the magic happens—supporting both our minis and the people they serve. 🌟

Last week, we partnered with AdventHealth Dade City and had the pleasure of visiting three Pasco County fire stations, including their Chief Barking Officer, Wilbur 🚒🐾

It was an honor to meet our brave first responders who risk their lives every day to rescue strangers who need help. We can only imagine the tragedies they’ve seen, which is why giving back to first responders is an important part of our mission, as they are an essential part in keeping our community safe.

Every therapy horse has their own magic, and for us, Dumpling is pure joy wrapped up in a tiny package. 💛

Dumpling has a way of walking into a room and instantly changing the atmosphere. Whether it’s a hospital hallway, a nursing home, or a school classroom, she brings smiles, laughter, and comfort everywhere she goes. Patients often say she feels like a “little angel” sent just for them—and we couldn’t agree more. 🌟

What makes Dumpling special isn’t just her size—it’s her heart. She leans in close when someone needs comfort, loves snuggles with children, and has a gentle spirit that connects with people in a way words never could.

We’re so grateful for the countless lives she’s touched and the light she continues to share each day. 💙🐴

Hello everyone!

Meet our miniature therapy team, Honey and Mary Rose Gullet! We began this journey in March of 2018. A year later, we are now officially a 501(c)3 organization. This has been one of the most incredible, touching journeys I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. We are so thankful the stars aligned, we are doing something so incredible and bringing so much love, smiles, & happiness to so many people.

First, a little about how we stumbled on this amazing gift we are so privileged to be able to share with everyone….
