It is with great sadness and extreme heartbreak that we announce on the eve of our second anniversary Cat'z Meow Sanctuary will be permanently closing. We thank all those that have followed and supported us.

Another question....just wondering if you have seen an increase in pleas for donations from other rescues not just cat but all rescue types and 501c non profits?

Just curious....how many of our followers are feeling financial strain and hardship right now. Or is it just Catz Meow struggling. And any of our followers that follow other rescues. Not only in Florida but anywhere....are you seeing financial struggle with other rescues....

Not sure if anyone was planning on coming to the yard sale tomorrow or Monday. But we will need to postpone due to an injury. We apologize in advance for the short notice.

No funds for Electric average $120 per month.
No funds for building which is $215 per month No funds for dry food average $800 per month No funds for flea/dewormer average $500 per month
No funds for vaccines average $2400 a year

Then the property isn't paid for so there is a mortgage, fuel and other expenses for upkeep of the property.

We need your help and support to just maintain the babies we care for. And for us to get back out there in the community and assist with others....well we need your continued support and we need you to spread the word.

Our goal is to at least reach enough for rabies. We have set the goal @$1200. I have attached an image showing our goal and what we have received as of today 9/25/25.

We thank everyone that has donated toward the vaccine fund....We cannot stay open and running without your continued support.
