The Village Vet was founded in 2006 by Dr. Kelly Gough, who had worked at another vet clinic in Webster for many years. Dr. Gough purchased the legendary dive bar, Marv's, on Ridge Road in Webster and turned it into The Village Vet. Today the clinic employs 13 people, all from the Webster area, and has three Veterinarians.

As the warm weather creeps in, so do the bugs (including those pesky black flies)! If you begin to notice red spots on your dog's belly that look like these, do not panic they are likely black fly bites and you don't need to worry as they are harmless and will go away on their own🙂
