We will reschedule for Saturday April 19th (1:00-3:00) in case of bad weather on April 12th.

Thanks to the 20+ volunteers who collected trash at Purgatory Park yesterday. It was our first event!

Our group was formed with the following goals:
1. Advocate for a park environment that is ideal for citizens and their canine companions.
2. Foster stronger compliance to Minnetonka park policies.
3. Formalize communications to park board and Mtka city officials.
4. Organize fun events that showcase the positive contributions of dog-owners in our community.

Great Spring Cleanup event today at Purgatory Park organized by Minnetonka Paws For Parks. Around twenty volunteers cleaned up trash and dog p**p that had accumulated over the winter.

Our group picked up over 30 pounds of junk... mostly plastic debris. Dog walkers have been doing a pretty good job picking up after their dogs, as the plastic waste was much more prevalent than the dog waste.

Thanks to all those who came out to clean!
