Department and the Pulaski County Ambulance District under the water tower. Adoption Fees: Ranging from $110-$200. All dogs come spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. 🕌 This sweet boy is a 1 year and 8 month old mix breed! Ceasar came into the shelter with his brother and sister and has not failed to make the staff laugh in the time he has been here!

🏛️ Ceasar is an energetic boy who just loves to play and show off his spirited personality! Ceasar is Potty trained and gets along well with other dogs! Though we will still require a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home!

⛲️ Ceasar would love a home with an active life style where he can play as much as he wants and would do well going out on hikes or runs!

💉 Ceasar is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, heart-worm negative, and Neutered!

🪻This sweet girl is a 1 year and 8 month old mixed breed! Laya came into the shelter with her two brothers and has been doing amazing!

🌼 Laya loves to make new friends and to cuddle up with her favorite people! Laya is already potty trained and working on learning her basic commands! Laya would love a home where she can be her playful self and get lots of love! Laya gets along well with other dogs, but we will still require a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home.

🪐 This sweet boy is a 1 year and 8 month old mixed breed, who is ready for his forever home! Augustus came in with his brother and sister who we believe are the same age as he is! Though they came in together they do not need to be adopted out together!

🌙 Augustus loves to be loved on and to play outside, he can be a little shy at first but once he’s opened up he has the most amazing personality! Augustus is potty trained and gets along well with other dogs, though we will still require a meet and greet!

💉 Augustus is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, heart-worm negative, and microchipped!

Eggplant is hopeful if he dresses up handsome, someone will come to the shelter and take him out on trial!! 🤞

Eggplant is a 4 year old Husky! He is potty trained, walks very well on lead and does well with other dogs! He loads very nicely into the car and has the most handsome howl!! 🐶

Poor Mist was so sad to see her brother leave today! 🥺

As happy as we are to know Arbor is in his forever home full of love, our hearts break for our sweet Mist!! 😭

She just laid in her fluffy little bed all day so sad! 💔 We are hoping come tomorrow someone will stop by to meet our sweet girl and absolutely fall in love with her! 🫶🏼

Hello everyone! Meet Eggplant, a sweet 4-year-old pup who would thrive in a loving home. He enjoys a plant-based diet (just kidding—he's open to all kinds of delicious food!). Eggplant gets along well with most dogs, but a meet and greet is recommended if you have other furry friends. He’s great in his kennel and is fully potty trained. When it comes to treats, he sits patiently and takes them gently. His leash skills are pretty good, though a bit of extra practice would help.

Eggplant will be available for adoption this Friday morning. He'll be neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready to find his forever family. This lovable boy adores toys, going for walks, and simply spending time with people. He’s ready to bring joy and companionship into your life!

We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your ongoing support as we work to help a family of dogs living near Kym N Go in Waynesville. We’re happy to share that we’ve successfully captured most of the dogs, but there’s still one more in need of our help. He’s a large black dog, and we’re committed to bringing him to safety as well.

We kindly ask for your understanding and support during this time. Please refrain from chasing or attempting to feed him, as we have specialized traps and feeding stations set up to help him feel secure. It’s crucial for our strategy that he eats from specific areas to ensure his safety.

Thank you for your compassion and assistance as we continue this important work together. Your kindness makes a difference!

Hello everyone! I want to introduce you to this adorable little guy, Phaty Cline. He’s the sweetest companion you could ever meet! Phaty has a heart full of love for other dogs and joyfully plays with everyone he encounters. Weighing in at a charming 27.7 lbs, he’s all grown up and ready to share his life with a loving family. Would do better with older children.

At just over 6 months old, Phaty is up to date on all his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped, which means he’s prepared for a wonderful future. He would thrive in a home with other dogs and children, as he has a playful spirit and an active nature. Whether it’s going on camping adventures or snuggling on the couch, Phaty would be the perfect addition to any family. Let’s help him find his forever home where he can spread his joy and love!

Welcome to the Waynesville Animal Shelter. At this time we are not equipped to handle any animals except for dogs. We are always looking for assistance with running the animal shelter. Thank you for taking the time to look around. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact Animal Control Officer Daniela Breedlove or Animal Control Officer Anjelica Olson at 573-774-6509. Location: 1502 Ousley Road, Waynesville, Missouri 65583 Near the Waynesville Fire Department and the Pulaski County Ambulance District under the water tower. Top of the Waynesville Hill across from the cemetery.

Check back for updated information on the shelter’s fee schedule to include adoption fees. If you are interested in volunteering or in adopting an animal please visit http://www.waynesvillemo.org/shelter.htm and print the form. Once you have filled the form out please bring the form by the Waynesville Animal Shelter.
