It’s going to be a fun time!

Froggy has been putting in the work and tonight was his big test! He attended a county wide 4H demo night and handled it like a rockstar! Even with the loud environment, kids running around, and other dogs playing, he was able to greet strangers appropriately and stay calm and relaxed.
Over the last 2 weeks we have been working on appropriately greeting strangers and being comfortable in these environments.
We started with controlled introductions in neutral settings, gradually increasing the duration and intensity of interactions.
We made sure he had positive experiences during socialization to build confidence and reduce fear. In the end he is comfortable in this chaotic environment.

🐾🐶✨ **Puppy Training 101: Let's Talk Exposure!** 🌟🌈
🐾 While teaching commands and obedience inside is great 🏠, it’s crucial to get your puppies OUTSIDE! 🌳☀️ Early exposure to different environments, sounds, 🐦, people 👥, and other pets 🐾 is key!

Why, you ask? 🤔 Because all that training inside can *easily fall apart* when you're out in the real world! 🌍💨 So let’s get our pups used to this big, beautiful world! 🌏❤️

Remember, the more experiences they have early on, the better they’ll handle anything life throws at them! 🎈🐕

So take them to parks, busy streets, and new places. The world is their classroom! 📚✨

Bear is on his way to being a great service dog and we are thrilled to be helping with the process! For a lazy Sunday morning we played some brain games!

Brain games are important for dogs because they provide mental stimulation, which helps keep their minds sharp, reduce boredom, alleviate stress, and strengthen the bond between you and your dog by engaging them in challenging activities that require problem-solving and focus, similar to how humans benefit from mental exercises; this is especially important for dogs of all ages, from puppies learning new skills to senior dogs maintaining cognitive abilities
