❤️🐴 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT CREEKSIDE HORSE PARK 🐴❤️

With everything on the news this past weekend we want to remind everyone:

One of the things we are most proud of at Creekside Horse Park isn't the obstacles, the arena, the trails, or even the events.

It's the PEOPLE.

For years we have pushed the idea that everyone helps everyone.

Yes, we compete.

Yes, we keep score.

Yes, we hand out ribbons, buckles, and awards.

But at the end of the day, our goal is not to beat someone else. Our goal is to enjoy our horses, improve ourselves, and spend time with like-minded people who share the same passion.

We often see complete strangers helping each other learn a pattern, lending equipment, holding horses, offering encouragement, and cheering for riders they just met that morning.

That's the culture we want.

We don't care if you're a first-time competitor or a seasoned rider. We don't care if you're in first place or last place.

What excites us is seeing someone find the courage to enter the course, try something new, and have fun with their horse.

Recent events in the horse world remind us how important kindness, sportsmanship, and respect really are.

We cannot control what happens everywhere else, but we can control what happens here.

At Creekside, there is no room for negativity, bullying, gossip, or people who come only to tear others down.

Likewise, there is no room for provoking others or creating drama.

We expect everyone to treat fellow competitors, volunteers, judges, and spectators with respect.

Our hope is that people arrive as strangers and leave as friends.

That's the kind of horse community we want to build.

So whether you win the class, place last, or simply complete an obstacle you didn't think you could do, be proud of yourself.

💗Your horse doesn't know what ribbon you won.

👉They only know they spent the day with you.

And that's what matters most. ❤️

🌲🐴 THANK YOU FOR A GREAT MIKE SCHMIDT CLINIC! 🐴🌲

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mike Schmidt Mountain Trail Clinic this weekend at Creekside Horse Park!

What a fun day of learning, riding, problem-solving, and building confidence on the obstacles. It was great to see riders and horses of all experience levels working through challenges and gaining new skills.

A special thank you to Mike Schmidt for sharing his knowledge, encouragement, and practical approach to helping horses and riders succeed on the trail and in the Mountain Trail arena. There is always something new to learn, no matter where you are in your horsemanship journey.

Thank you to everyone who attended, audited, helped set up, and supported the clinic. The positive atmosphere and willingness of everyone to learn and help one another is what makes these events so enjoyable.

We love seeing this horse community continue to grow and can't wait to have Mike back again in July!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this past Saturday for the Terry Myers Ride-In-Sync Clinic at Creekside Horse Park!

It was a fantastic day filled with learning, horsemanship, and building better partnerships with our horses. Whether you came to refine your skills, improve communication, or simply gain a new perspective, we hope you left with ideas and tools to continue working with your horse at home.

A special thank you to Terry Myers for sharing his knowledge, experience, and passion for helping horse and rider become a better team. His ability to break things down into simple, understandable concepts is always appreciated by riders of every discipline and experience level.

Thank you as well to all the riders, auditors, helpers, and supporters who spent the day with us. Events like these are only possible because of people like you.

🏹🐴 MOUNTED ARCHERY WEEKEND IS ALMOST HERE! 🐴🏹

There is STILL ROOM if you haven’t signed up yet! Come join us for a fun weekend of horses, shooting, and great company at Creekside Horse Park!

🏹 Practice opens after 3PM
🍽 Dinner with reservations at 6PM

⏰ Competition starts at 9AM SHARP

➡️ Walk/Trot classes to follow

To help keep horses relaxed and the day moving smoothly, riders will be divided into small groups of ONLY 3–4 shooters at a time. That means LESS standing around waiting while mounted and MORE shooting time! 🙌
