I've had the pleasure to look after these two handsome fellas while momma was away for work. Both were such good boys, ate all their food, held quality conversations, shared some purry face smushes, and they even successfully caught the red laser dot!
Not that I want momma to leave them for work trips again but I look forward to caring for them in the future. 🥰

Meet-n-greet my own critters!

This is P**f - nicknamed P**fy, P**fers, P**fy-kee, Keke, Mr Maow, Dingus. He's a goofy, chronically grumpy, and clumsy old man (16 yrs) that does not know how big he is. He's a food guru and will eat just about anything off of the floor. He's my medically needy baby that I've had since he came into my life as a free garage kitten. We've grown up together, have seen each other at our best and at our worst. He has multiple health issues (11 diagnoses!) but is living his best life indoors. His health seems to be under control thanks to his amazing vet team! I'm cherishing the moments we have. I know our time is limited. I cannot recall time before P**fers. 💙🐾

Meet-n-greet my own critters! 🐾

This is Jakku - nicknamed K*ku, K*k, K*kadook, and K*kukachoo. K*ku is my needy, mischievous 6 year old baby that likes to help me around the house and keep me company with his meowing chorus and chirps. He's a little goofball but he also is a wonderful caretaker. K*k seems to sense when momma doesn't feel well when my autoimmune disease is flaring up and will stick by my side like glue and lay in my lap. I'd do anything for this little weirdo and am so glad he chose me 5.5 years ago at the local shelter. 🧡

Meet-n-greet my own critters! 🦎

This is Carrot, my ~3 year old female leopard gecko. I found her at the Blue Ridge Reptile Rescue in Lexington, VA. Her backstory: She was inappropriately housed with a male gecko and bred, became emaciated because of improper care, and somewhere along the way was relinquished to the rescue. The rescue rehabilitated her and got her health back on track. Since acquiring her and with a scheduled diet she is now a proper weight and is living her best life in solitude!
She is sassy, demanding, and a little bitey! Her name at the rescue was Crabbe (like from Harry Potter) so when she's in trouble I call her Crabbey Carrot. Her favorite snack is dubia roaches and wax worms.🧡🦎

Hello all! I do not currently offer overnight pet care (staying overnight at your house). I will provide 30 min - 1 hr visits 2-3x daily depending on locality (30 min visits on the days I work, up to 1 hr visits on my days off). 🐾

I've had several inquiries about how much I charge. I am transparent about my pet sitting rates:
Dog: $30/drop in visit
Cat: $25/visit
Chickens/ducks/fish/reptiles: $20/visit
+ $5 for each additional pet

Custom rates will apply to mixed-pet households with the least expensive pet sitting rate being the base rate -- example, if you have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a couple reptiles, the rate would be $20/visit + $5x3 for the additional pets, = $35/visit.

I aim to be affordable for others, while matching my experience as a veterinary professional, as well as being able to make ends meet and support my own pet's medical needs.
