🤠 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE DAMN YANKEE — JENNIFER 😂

Being the Damn Yankee that I am — yes, this is Jennifer speaking 😂 — I have put off making this post for several years because I was afraid I might come across a little too harsh.

Well… apparently today is the day. 🤣

🐴 EVERY PERSON who enters the Buffalo River Trail Ride property needs to fill out a liability waiver as soon as they arrive.

And here's the REALLY important part:

🚨 EVERY. SINGLE. VISIT. 🚨

Not once a year.
Not because “y'all already have mine.”
Not just when you're riding.
Not just when you're camping.
Not just during an organized ride.

EVERY TIME YOU COME ONTO THE PROPERTY, YOU NEED TO FILL OUT A LIABILITY.

Riding a horse? Liability.
Camping? Liability.
Day riding? Liability.
Visiting friends? Liability.
Coming to the dance? Liability.
Just stopping by to hang out? Liability.
Came yesterday, went home, and came back today? Guess what? Another liability. 😂

If you enter the property, please make the OFFICE YOUR FIRST STOP.

🌙 BUT JENNIFER, WHAT IF I GET THERE AFTER THE OFFICE IS CLOSED?

Nice try. The Damn Yankee thought of that too. 🤣

We have liability forms available on the FRONT PORCH for anyone arriving after hours.

👉 Grab a liability.
👉 Fill it out completely.
👉 Slide it under the office door.
👉 Go get yourself settled in.

Then, please swing back by the office the next morning to settle up with us.

So even if you roll in at dark-thirty, there's still a way to get your liability taken care of. 😂

And here's something a lot of folks probably don't realize...

We use those liability forms for SO MUCH MORE than their original intended purpose.

Of course, there's the liability side of it, but the information also helps us track attendance, work on our budget, see where our visitors are coming from, plan future events, figure out what we need more or less of, and make decisions about improvements at Buffalo River Trail Ride.

Those little pieces of paper give us some pretty important numbers.

So when you don't fill one out, we're not just missing a signature — we're missing YOU in the numbers we use to plan, budget, and make decisions for the future of this place.

Even if you've been coming here for 30 years…

Even if everybody in the office knows you by name…

Even if Jennifer knows exactly what truck you drive, what horse you ride, and which campsite you're headed to… 🤣

WE STILL NEED THAT LIABILITY — EVERY PERSON, EVERY SINGLE VISIT.

So, pretty please, before Jennifer has to unleash her full Damn Yankee side… 😂😂😂

👉 STOP AT THE OFFICE.
👉 FILL OUT YOUR LIABILITY.
👉 PAY YOUR FEE.
👉 THEN GO HAVE YOURSELF A GOOD TIME!

And if we're closed when you arrive:

We truly love having y'all here. ❤️ We're not trying to give anybody a hard time. We just need everyone's help keeping accurate records and keeping Buffalo River Trail Ride running smoothly.

We’re starting the morning around 74°F with clear skies and calm winds. Today will be sunny and HOT, with a high around 97°F and a low near 74°F tonight.
