June Organized Ride

Ever wonder what's included during our week-long Organized rides??
From start to finish, we serve 19 meals of down home Southern cooking, guided trail rides from our skilled Trail Bosses on thousands of acres of wooded countryside along the Buffalo River, music and dancing every night with our house band Crooked Creek, Wednesday night Bingo, Thursday Horse Show, Friday Fun Auction, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, cave exploring, scavenger games and lots of fantastic giveaways during our Friday night drawing.
During our organized rides we will have the following services available for a fee:
Camp Veterinarian (large animal only)
Camp Farrier
Freezebranding
RV Repair
Septic Truck (select days only) sign up in office
Our camp store has tack, toiletries, ice cream and drinks for your convenience.
We also sell: (prices subject to change)
Hay $12 per bale (Orchard Grass and Bermuda)
Shavings $8.50 per bag
Ice $3 per 7lb bag
Our 100 acre campground has over 350 campsites with just electric and over 400 covered stalls in our 16 barns. River water is available at every barn for your horses or mules.
There is one fresh water filling station in the upper camp and one fresh water filling station in the lower camp. Our dump station is in the upper camp. We have a bathhouse with laundry facilities in our upper camp and a bathhouse in our lower camp.
Schedule of events for the 2025 June Organized Ride:
Abbreviated meals start Saturday, June 14th. On Saturday and Sunday (14th and 15th) meals are $10 per adult 13 and over, $5 for children 12 and under.
Full Buffet starts Monday, June 16th and those meals are included in the fees.
Meal times:
Breakfast 7am to 8:30am
Lunch 12pm to 1pm
Supper 5:30pm to 7pm
Sunday night 8pm to 11pm Crooked Creek Band starts the week of dancing and music.
Sunday night 8:45pm Tim and Tracy Aston welcome and introductions.
Monday Trail Bosses start taking riders out. Meet in lower camp near Dance Hall every morning at 8:45am.
Wednesday Bingo with prizes at 7pm in the Dining Hall.
Thursday afternoon starting at 3pm weather permitting will be our Horse Show.
Friday Fun Auction starts at 1:30pm in the Dance Hall. This is a CASH ONLY fun auction. Please feel free to bring items from home to sell.
Friday Night Giveaways: 8:45pm we will do employee introductions, belt buckle presentations and drawing giveaways.
EVERYONE (no exceptions at all) must stop at the office the very first thing before going to your campsite to fill out one liability per person whether they are riding or not. Liabilities are available to fill out after office hours as well and are located on the porch. Please fill one out for each person and slide under the door if the office closed. Then come back to the office at 8am when it is open.
Negative Coggins is required to be current and presented at the time of arrival and prior to unloading.
During arrival weekend only, we will charge each person for each meal at the dining hall door. Adults 13 and over will be $10 cash per person, each meal. Children 12 and under will be $5 cash per person, per meal. As of Monday morning, all meals will be included. In the dining hall, lunch and supper time, we serve sweet tea, lemonade and water. If you'd prefer a different beverage, please bring it with you for your visit. At breakfast, we serve coffee, milk and various juices for our drink selections.
Sunday night, we will do introductions and offer plenty of helpful information in the dance hall before the band starts so please be sure to attend if you can.
Monday morning, the Trail Bosses will start taking groups out if you choose to join them.
We will have a septic company available on select days to empty your black tank for $20. You must be present at your trailer for them to provide service. You must sign up in the office at the beginning of the week.
Thursday afternoon starting at 2pm, our Freeze Brander will be offering his services for a fee. Both appointments and walk ins are accepted at that time.
We will have our Fun Auction on Friday afternoon. You are more than welcome to sell any new or gently used items. Please note the auction is cash only.

Stall Fork
Spare Fresh Water Tank
Chainsaw (for firewood bundles)
Our Camp Veterinarian and Camp Farrier will be available all week for your convenience for a fee.
Our house band Crooked Creek will be playing in the dance hall on Sunday through Friday night.
