We had our semi-annual boarding and daycare state inspection today! (We passed with flying colors,... as usual 🤩🐕).
The state warden let us know that they are continually working to ensure all dogs residing in the state have an annual or lifetime license. Is your dog licensed? If not, follow the link to get it taken care of online. We also have the mail-in forms for pick up at our hospital and dog park reception desks. State wardens do impose fines if your dog is found to be unlicensed.

According to PA laws, every pet owner must license their dog—you can purchase an annual license by submitting a completed application to your local county treasurer or issuing agent. If you don’t license your dog, you could be cited with a $500 fine, per violation, plus court costs.

Hey, we need help! We are looking to hire that special friendly, reliable person who can be a "Jack/Jill of all trades" team member to help handle the front desk (greeting and checking clients in or out, answering the phones and setting appointments), assist the groomers. bathe/dry and brush dogs, trim nails, general clean up, laundry. etc. This person needs to be available to work 25 to 35 hours a week from 7:30 till 2:30 (or whenever all of the dogs are done) at least Tuesday through Thursday, and potentially Fridays and Saturdays all year around. Understanding dog behavior and experience working with dogs is a must and prior grooming salon experience would be a big plus!! This person must love every dog that comes in like they were your own! Also, you would need to be able to lift dogs up to 50 lbs and not mind getting a bit wet! Authorities say the 4th of July is a time when lost pet reports spike. Loud noises from fireworks spook dogs, cats and birds — and can make them flee their homes.
