New medication requests may require a consultation with a veterinarian and any refills will need to be approved by the veterinarian with time to dispense before we close for the holiday weekend on July 3.

These super fun kittens are ready for forever homes! Adrienne’s been fostering them through Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society (PALS) for fostering with their mom just 5 days after birth (b. April 6 2026) and have been the sweetest little guests. Their mom did an excellent job raising them and teaching them good behaviors, and the older cats in my home modeled good habits for living with humans. The kittens are playful, cuddly, have good hygiene, and are practically perfect in every way. Their mom, Alina, will be available for adoption in a week or two after she’s been spayed and has recovered.

🐾Abby - the smaller female calico, wants to know what you’re doing just in case it’s more fun than her toys. Chances are she’ll bring her toys near you so she can people watch and play at the same time.
🐾Marie-Philip - the fluffier female calico, loves to explore but is equally thrilled to be held and pet. Might try to jump in the bathtub with you even though she never appreciates the result.
🐾Laura - the female dilute calico (more grey), has recently discovered purring and hasn’t stopped since. She loves to stay busy playing until she’s ready for cuddles.
🐾Jacques - the tabby male is a bold explorer who takes adventuring as seriously as naptime. He’s the first of his litter to try everything as well as the first to bed every night.

All four kittens are microchipped and up to date on vaccines. They’ve spent time with a big dog, were very curious about her, and happy to sleep in the same bed. They’ve also all done great with the older cats in the foster home, learning good social cues and appropriate playing. They took to using the litterbox quickly with a 100% success rate and will use both a standard box and a Litter Robot. They all use regular feed bowls and a microchip feeder.

Kitten adoption event ~this Saturday~ at the Black Cat Cafe, 3p-6p. Fill out an application ahead of time for pre-approval so you can take home a kitten same day!

Come meet the kittens at our adoption event and stay afterwards for our watch party with a buffet. Our adoption event is from 3-6 pm at the Black Cat Cafe. Our watch party for the Stanley Pup starts right after. To take a kitten or 2 home from our adoption event, get preapproved at www.palspets.org. These 3 kittens are ready for homes! They fostered with AJ while reaching adoptable age and are currently in a kitty condo at to meet folks. Links to their adoption profiles in comments.
The mom, Cedar, does not have a tail but it’s genetic rather than a result of trauma. All 3 kittens are also tail-less!

🐱 Stella (female, born approx Jan 21 2026) is a very playful and active kitten. She loves running around with a toy mouse in his mouth, finding the best places to play. Stella keeps busy wrestling and playing, and loves to do both with a friend. Anything can be a toy if it’s spinny or shiny enough and she loves cat game videos (on a well-anchored tv).

🐈‍⬛ Prudence (female, born approx Jan 21 2026) is a playful kitten who loves hunting stuffed mice and chasing balls on tracks. She enjoys climbing high in the cat tree and surveying her realm, planning where to go next, then leaping to get there. She can be a bit cautious at first but once comfortable she absolutely loves being pet and finding new things to explore.

🐱 Cedar is a confident young lady who’s fresh off weaning her 5 (!!) kittens. She has been successfully introduced to older cats in her foster home and has turned into a very playful girl who particularly enjoys provoking other cats into chasing feather toys and she’s quickly learning how to read other cats’ social cues. As a young mother, she is now learning to find her joys and those joys include frequent zoomies and flinging mouse toys across the room to chase.
🐈‍⬛ PEGGY is a champion toy hunter and ready to pounce! She loves encouraging her littermates into a rousing wrestling session. She’ll go until he’s fully tuckered out, then she’s ready for a nap preferably somewhere on top of you. She loves running around with a toy mouse in her mouth, playing keep away from her littermates.

Due to the weather, VVH is closed February 23
and will re-open February 24 at 8am.
