Some days, this job makes me question the last eight years of my life. The long hours, the unexpected challenges, the sacrifices, and the reality of having little to no social life can make it hard to see the bigger picture.
But then there are days like today.
I got a call from a mom whose little boy wanted his pup to have a mohawk. Seeing the excitement on his face and how much he loved his dog’s fresh haircut was a reminder of exactly why I started this journey in the first place.
Moments like these make all the hard days worth it. They remind me that what I do matters, and they reignite the passion that made me want to do this job — and LOVE IT!
