Waxahachie Veterinary Clinic is hiring an experienced veterinary technician. Duties to include: assist DVM with patient care, communicate effectively with clients about their pets (both on the phone and in person), gather medical history, provide effective restraint when needed, execute DVM orders (including venipuncture, catherization, radiology, administration of medications and vaccinations as instructed), dentistry and surgical assisting, record keeping, and completing laboratory tests as required. Must have previous experience as a technician in a veterinary clinic OR have completed a veterinary technician training program to graduation and passed the certification test. We utilize our veterinary technicians to their full skill level.
